GameBetties would like to provide a brief overview of the relevant parts of the new Federal Trade Commission (16 CFR Part 255) law regarding disclosure in advertising. This law is meant to have blogs and other types of media reveal what type of payments or goods have been received by the blogger. This is meant to keep the public informed of the relationship between the advertisers and bloggers and to restore trust in reviews, endorsements and advertising.
GameBetties has game and product reviews, some of which we have purchased the product on our own and some we have received the product free of charge from the advertising company.
